Boarding that continues what daycare starts

Most dog boarding in Dubai is storage with a smile. A clean kennel, a full bowl, someone checking in twice a day. Fetch is not that. Boarding dogs follow the same structured day as daycare members: the same enrichment sessions, the same practice time, the same handlers who already know them.

That last part is the one that matters most. Your dog is not introduced to strangers when they board with us. They are with the same people, in the same environment, around the same dogs they already know. That is not a coincidence. It is the reason our approach requires acclimatisation before any boarding can begin.

Boarding is only available to Fetch members. If you are not yet a member, the waitlist is where it starts. Read about The Fetch Experience before applying.

The overnight

The day does not stop at 5pm

Fetch structures the evening the same way we structure the day. With intention.

Wind-down

Daycare members head home. Boarding dogs transition into a quieter evening. Same handlers, same environment, lower energy.

Evening enrichment

Low-arousal enrichment activities: snuffle mats, lick mats, calm one-on-one time. Designed to decompress, not stimulate.

Tuck-in or Snuggles

Two separate paid add-ons. Tuck-in is a 15-minute wind-down with a handler and a frozen Kong. Snuggles is for dogs who need to sleep with someone: they stay with our night shift handler through the night. Very limited spots.

Daily report

Every boarding dog receives a detailed daily report covering activities, skills and manners practices, and how your dog progressed. Not a one-liner. A proper update.

Why members only

Boarding is not open to the public. That is deliberate.

Every dog who boards at Fetch has already been through our acclimatisation process. They know the space. They know the handlers. They know the other dogs in the group. That familiarity is not a nice-to-have. It is the reason boarding at Fetch produces a different outcome.

Introducing an unknown dog into an established boarding environment would compromise the experience for every dog already in it. We are not willing to do that. The membership model is what makes the quality possible.

Join the waitlist

Tell us about your dog. We review every application individually and confirm whether Fetch is the right fit before anything else happens.

2

Complete acclimatisation

Your dog goes through our structured acclimatisation period across several sessions over a few weeks. We are looking for genuine comfort, not just tolerance.

3

Become a member

Once acclimatisation is complete, membership begins. Boarding is available from that point because your dog is known, settled, and ready.

4

Book boarding

Members book directly. Your dog arrives already knowing exactly where they are and who they are with.

Boarding add-ons

The extras that actually matter

We built these because clients asked for them, and because we genuinely understand the guilt of leaving a dog who sleeps on your bed.

📖

Tuck-in

Our night handler spends 15 minutes with your dog as they settle in for the night. Frozen Kong, calm presence, a dog-themed story read aloud while they wind down. A goodnight WhatsApp photo sent to you to close the day.

Paid add-on
🤗

Night-time Snuggles

Specifically designed for dogs who are used to sleeping with someone at night. Your dog stays with our dedicated night shift handler through the night rather than settling alone. Genuinely limited numbers per night. This is a capacity reality, not a marketing line. Request it when applying.

Paid add-on, very limited availability
💊

Medication Administration

For dogs on daily medication or supplements. Our team handles feeding routines and medication schedules with precision. Discuss your dog's specific needs during the application process.

On request
🧴

Immune Support Protocol

A proactive supplement protocol designed to support immune function during the boarding stay. Particularly useful for dogs prone to stress responses or those who have had post-boarding illness in less controlled environments.

Fear Free certified handling during dog boarding at Fetch Dubai
Fear Free boarding Dubai

The only Fear Free Certified boarding facility in the UAE

Fear Free certification is not a badge on the wall. It is a daily operating standard that shapes every interaction: how dogs are received, how stress signals are read and acted on, how the environment is managed, and how handlers are trained.

Boarding is the highest-stress service in pet care. An unfamiliar environment, an absent family, different routines. The Fear Free framework exists precisely for this context. We are the only facility in the UAE that applies it to boarding.

We operate under PPG Do No Harm standards. No aversive methods, no aversive tools, no corrections. Every interaction is shaped by one question: how does this land for the dog?

Who it is for

Is Fetch boarding the right fit?

Boarding at Fetch is not available to everyone. Here is who it is genuinely built for.

  • Existing Fetch members Boarding is only available to dogs who have completed our acclimatisation process and hold an active membership. This is not negotiable, and it is the reason our boarding works.
  • Dogs who are anxious in traditional kennels If your dog has come home from boarding stressed, flat, or unwell before, the environment was probably wrong. Fetch's structured, familiar setting produces a genuinely different outcome for many of these dogs.
  • People who want to actually enjoy their trip The daily activity reports exist because people told us they spent entire holidays anxious about their dog. Knowing exactly what your dog did, practised, and progressed on that day changes that entirely.
  • People who are prepared to plan ahead Boarding availability is limited by membership numbers. If you need boarding in two weeks and have never been through acclimatisation, we cannot help you right now. If you are planning ahead, start the waitlist today.
Something most facilities ignore

A tired dog is not the same as a settled one

The goal of boarding at Fetch is not exhaustion. That is a shortcut most facilities take because it is easier to manage a flat dog than an enriched one. We do not take that shortcut.

Dogs who come home genuinely settled show it at home. Better sleep, calmer greetings, less reactivity in the days that follow. That is what we look for, not how tired they appear at pickup.

"Fetch is truly the best place we trust to leave our dog for boarding and daycare. Lambo has been going there for two years now, and every time he is happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. The team is amazing. You can really feel how much they care about the dogs."

FAQ

Honest answers

No. Boarding is only available to dogs who have completed our acclimatisation process and hold an active membership. This is a welfare policy, not a business one. Introducing an unknown dog into an established boarding environment would compromise the experience for every dog already in it. If you are planning ahead, join our waitlist and we will walk you through the process.

For existing members, booking availability varies by season. Summer in Dubai, June through September, fills up fastest. We strongly recommend booking any holiday period as early as possible. New clients need to factor in the acclimatisation process before their first boarding stay, which typically takes several weeks. If you have a trip coming up, start the process now rather than when the date is close.

Yes. Boarding dogs follow the full daycare day: the same enrichment sessions, the same practice time, the same group play windows. Boarding at Fetch is not a separate, reduced experience. It is the same programme, extended overnight.

Every boarding dog receives a detailed daily report covering which activities they participated in, which skills and manners they practised, and how they progressed. This is included as standard. A goodnight photo is available as part of the Tuck-in or Snuggles add-ons.

Often yes. Because the acclimatisation process means your dog is genuinely familiar with the space, the people, and the other dogs before their first overnight stay. First-time boarders who have been through proper acclimatisation often settle significantly better than dogs with years of traditional kennel experience. We assess each dog individually and will be straightforward with you about what we find.

We handle medication administration for dogs with daily requirements: feeding schedules, supplement protocols, and prescribed medications within reason. Discuss your dog's specific needs when you apply or when booking. We will confirm what we can accommodate before confirming the stay.
